More than meets the eye

Behind Feinshmeker Film is Isabel Gathof, a young producer and filmmaker.

Before successfully completing her apprenticeship at the Frankfurt office of the international advertising agency Saatchi & Saatch, she already had taken the decision to study at a filmschool afterwards. To approach her dream she gained experience during several internships in the TV- and adverstising-industry. After having graduated "cum laude" from vocational school in Frankfurt, she began studying film production at the renowned University of Television and Cinema (HFF) in Munich, Germany.

During her studies she already was in charge as production manager for several student films (fictional and non-fictional content), as well as for clients. She made use of her creative skills and experiences from her time in the advertising branch when participating at severals pitches and concept creations for various clients of the advertising department of her film school. In the last year of Isabel's studies, she focussed on directing. 

 Being in her finals at University, she founded her own production company  in 2011 – Feinshmeker Film.
